Kanye West Photoshops face onto Mount Rushmore as he continues US Presidency bid

Kanye West has Photoshopped his face onto the side of Mount Rushmore in the latest taste of what his presidency could look like.

The 43-year-old rapper, who announced he was running for the US presidency earlier this month, took to social media to show off the unusual design.

In the picture that he shared on Twitter, Kanye's face was imposed on the South Dakota sculpture next to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

In the caption next to the image of the US landmark, he simply wrote “2020”.

The original sculpture, that was completed in 1941, was the location where Donald Trump recently celebrated the 4th of July.

Sharing his ambitious design with his 28.9 million Twitter followers, Kanye has received a mixed response from his loyal fans.

"Nah your Mount Rushmore should be you with 5 different expressions..." joked one fan.

"Probably more accurate to have Trump's hand patting your head though..." wrote another.

A third added: "Chief you really wanna be the President of USA?"

Alongside his latest social media stunt, Kanye appears to be pushing forward with his planned Presidential bid this year.

Although national polls suggest that Kanye has no chance of winning the election and might only amass 2% of the vote, it hasn't stopped the rapper steaming ahead.
