Khloe Kardashian has issued a short, terse response to reports that she had forgiven ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson and rekindled their romance.

It had been reported that Khloe was hoping the NBA star had "changed" his ways and they were "beyond happy" together after ending their time apart.

Sources had told PEOPLE on Monday: "She loves having him around. He has the best relationship with True,

"And he has been amazing to Khloe too. They are very much together and Khloe is beyond happy."

The source added: "They have been living in kind of a bubble and Khloe enjoys it."

It would seem that this is wide of the mark as representatives reached out to Daily Mail to say simply in two words that thoughts of them getting back together are "not true."

The 36-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is reportedly enjoying having the 29-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player in her life as a co-parent for their two-year-old daughter True.

Any idea that this relationship will be going any further than platonic seems to have been put to bed, once and for all.

Rumours of the pair getting back together have been circulating since June as Tristan noticeably became more involved with Khloe and True.

On Sunday, he was seen picking up pizzas in Calabasas for the three of them and sources have said that he has been living with Khloe at her mansion since the coronavirus lockdown was put in place.

The source had said that the pair were heading for another test of their relationship when the NBA season starts again and Tristan will be committed to travelling around the country.

They said: "Tristan's travelling was always a concern. This is when he would mess up their relationship.

"She hopes that Tristan has changed though so they can continue to be together as a family."

Khloe and Tristan had split in the beginning of 2019 after reports that he had kissed Kylie Jenner's BFF at the time, Jordyn Woods.

This came almost a year after Tristan had reportedly cheated on her numerous times, including while she was pregnant with True.
